iOS Widgets

Before you contact us: with iOS 18, Apple has discontinued support for so-called ‘Today Screen Widgets’. The myPWS ‘Today Screen Widget’ available before iOS 18 can therefore no longer be used on iOS 18 but only on iOS versions prior iOS 18.

Due to the daily usage limit associated with a WeatherUnderground API key, it is not possible to offer modern widgets that are permanently updated by iOS and thus continuously approach the API key limit.

For this reason, myPWS does not include any new home screen or lock screen widgets and unfortunately this will not change in the near future.

If you're using an iOS beta version and you've found a technical problem with myPWS, then please test (before contacting us) if the same issue also occurs on an official iOS or Watch OS version, because it makes little sense to analyze problems on operating systems, which have not been released to the public yet.
